NMAA Employment Opportunity: Administrative Director

The New Mexico Acequia Association (NMAA) is seeking an experienced and well-organized individual for the position of Administrative Director to manage the operations and finances of the organization. The NMAA is a mission-driven, membership-based non-profit organization dedicated to protecting acequia water rights and strengthening agricultural traditions in New Mexico through community organizing, policy advocacy, and community-based education.

The applicant should be experienced in non-profit financial management including budgeting and grant reporting. Strong communications, flexibility, and teamwork are essential qualities for the position. The Administrative Director will be a senior level management position and will work as part of a management team with the Executive Director and Program Director.

The position requires strong skills and experience with Quickbooks and non-profit accounting as well as training, education, or experience in management.
