A Conference Hosted by Communities for Clean Water

This two-day event will feature the following:

Community Water Forum: Buckman Water Projects and Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) – Santa Fe Convention Center, Thursday, July 26th from 8:30am to 1:00pm.

Runoff, Risk, and Community Empowerment: Your Role in Cleanup at LANL – Northern New Mexico College, Salazar Center for Fine Arts, Thursday, July 26th from 6:00pm to 8:00; and Friday, July 27th from 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Communities for Clean Water (CCW) is a network of community groups who have come together to address water issues at LANL. Members include Amigos Bravos, Concerned Citizens for Nuclear Safety, the Don Gabino Andrade Community Acequia, Embudo Valley Environmental Monitoring Group, New Mexico Acequia Association, Partnership for Earth Spirituality, Rio Grande Restoration, the SouthWest Organizing Project, and Tewa Women United.
