We Need Your Help To Make Congreso A Success!

posted in: News | 0
We hope you can join us as we celebrate our 26th year of advocacy for New Mexico's acequias! "¡Unidos, Defendemos Nuestras Aguas!" the 16th annual Congreso de las Acequias will take place on Saturday, November 21st at the National Hispanic Cultural Center in Albuquerque. This is the largest statewide gathering of acequias in New Mexico.

Additionally, we would like to invite you to be a sponsor for the event, which will feature the customary Bendicíon de las Aguas (water blessing), music, poetry, networking, display booths, and much more! Note that with sponsorship, event registration would be waived. This is an excellent opportunity to support our mission, which is to protect water and our acequias, grow healthy food for our families and communities, and to honor our cultural heritage.

Also, we will be hosting a silent auction this year. If you have an item or items that you feel would benefit us in an auction please give us a call. It is a great way to give and to have your business advertised.

$100 Non-profit sponsorship includes:
  • Waived registration for two (2) individuals
  • Display Booth in Exhibit Hall
  • Acknowledgement in Program and Newsletter
While we offer a special non-profit rate, please consider these other sponsorship levels:
