Acequia Pathways to Funding:
Financial Compliance

 Friday April 29, 2016, 9am-1pm

Ribera Community and Cultural Center CR B40 and State Hwy 3

The NMAA is hosting a series of workshops on Acequia Audits and Budgets in collaboration with the Department of Finance and Administration and the Office of the State Auditor.  Workshop topics will include an overview of acequia responsibilities for financial reporting and audits. This includes budget approval and financial reporting (for acequias with over $10,000 in revenue per year). These topics are especially important for those acequias who have received and expended Capital Outlay funding.   We strongly encourage each acequia to send at least one commissioner, especially Treasurers.
